The following combination of settings affect how billing
charges are incurred:
- ProjectWise version
- Login type (Bentley IMS, Windows,
ProjectWise)
- User Licensing and
Entitlement setting (user provides license, datasource owner provides license).
The following charts describe all possible scenarios.
ProjectWise Explorer 2023
A user must be logged in via CONNECTION Client in order
to use
ProjectWise Explorer 2023. Billing and
entitlement is calculated for the user who is logged into CONNECTION Client,
including scenarios when the user uses a
ProjectWise native or Windows account to
authenticate to
ProjectWise.

ProjectWise.
Note:
ProjectWise CONNECT Edition Update 3.4 ignores the
Server setting, and only supports Bring Your Own Licensing.
